100% Nebbiolo

Barolo Riserva Perno Elio Sandri 2017 is a 100% Nebbiolo planted on a medium slope (like the Grand Cru vineyards of Burgundy) in the MGA Perno area on a plot facing south-west of the hill. Cultivated like Barolo but with older vines and lower yields. It is fermented in old wooden barrels and then aged 4 years in a smaller barrel, the Riserva has greater aging potential with a deeper structure. It is not filtered.
