A wine of great nobility, austere, elegant, and frank, made from Nebbiolo grapes from estate vineyards in the prestigious Rabaja cru in Barbaresco.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Vineyard exposure: West.
Soil composition: Predominantly clayey.
Plant density: Approximately 4,200 vines per hectare.
Training system: Gouyot.
Harvest: Early October.
Vinification: After destemming and crushing the grapes, the must is fermented with maceration on the skins
at a controlled temperature with frequent pumping over to ensure proper extraction of color, polyphenolic compounds, and tannins. Maceration lasts 12 to 15 days.
Aging: The wine ages in large barrels (2,500 liters) for 24 months.
