GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Moscato Bianco.
ORIGIN: Strevi, in the Bagnario Valley, Scrapona Vineyard. Vineyard planted in 1996, using the wood from the old vines
present here. The soil is predominantly marly and sandy, with a southwest exposure.
VINIFICATION: Carefully selected and hand-harvested grapes. Soft pressing, must filtration, fermentation
with natural secondary fermentation (no added sugar).
CHARACTERISTICS: Straw yellow tending towards golden yellow. Floral notes of apricot, pear, and tropical fruit; delicate and fragrant
aroma. Pleasant and distinctive flavor, sweet and never cloying, fresh and mineral.
PAIRINGS: It pairs well with all desserts, especially hazelnut desserts, amaretti biscuits, and zabaglione.
Excellent as a snack for relaxing moments. Also interesting in original pairings, with fresh cheeses and fried foods, excellent as an aperitif.
STORAGE AND SERVING
Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place. Open and serve at 8°-10°C in medium-sized glasses. The evolution of a Scrapona aged for several years is surprising.
